He married Mary EDWIN in Buckingham by Licence3 on 21 Sep 1742.2
She was buried in Adstock on 25 May 1795. The burial entry had the notation "widow of late John, farmer".1
The marriage licence bond describes John as a labourer of Padbury,
batchelor aged 25years & Mary Edwin of Padbury, a spinster aged 21
years, with John as one of the bondsmen and Nicholas Edwin, farmer of
Padbury as the other, he most likely being Mary's father. Both John &
Nicholas signed their names.3 Children were:

Adstock.1 She was buried in Adstock on 18 May 1770. The burial entry had the notation
"spinster".1 Even though she was only
18 at the time, there was no other adult Sarah in this family line in Adstock,
so it is presumed to be this Sarah.
vii. Richard KEYS was christened on 14 Apr 1754 in
Adstock.1
viii. Francis KEYS was christened on 2 May 1756 in
Adstock.1
ix. Elizabeth KEYS was christened on 15 Apr 1759 in
Adstock.1
x. Martha KEYS was christened on 11 Jan 1761 in
Adstock.1
xi. Hannah KEYS was christened on 22 Feb 1762 in
Adstock.1
xii. Jane KEYS was christened on 12 Feb 1764 in
Adstock.1 She was buried in Adstock on 25 Jan 1775.1
