Abstract of the Last Will & Testament
of William Randell - 1730
William Randell of Upper Sundon,
Bedfordshire
Brother Henry Randoll the house and close now in my possession with all the orchards gardens lands buildings and appurtenances for him to take possession of three years after my decease and from thence to enjoy during the term of his natural life and immediately after his decease my will is that my nephew William Randoll eldest son of my brother Henry Randall should enjoy the same to him and his heirs forever provided he shall pay to his sister Ann Randoll five pounds within one year after he hath possession of the same and five pounds more to his brother Rotheram Randoll when he hath been possesses four years Sister Elizabeth Randoll and my house wherein John Waller now dwelleth with all the lands pasture orchards gardens or buildings thereto belonging during the term of her natural life except the orchard at the yards end which my will is should be laid to the house wherein my brother Henry Randoll now dwelleth and after the decease of my sister Elizabeth Randoll I do give and bequeath the same Rotheream Raiment eldest son of my sister Sarah Raiment to him and his heirs forever provided he shall pay to his sister Sarah Raiment twenty pounds of lawful English money within one year after he is possessed of the same Mary Elmes wife of William Elmes of Eversholt five pounds to be paid her within two years after my decease Brother Henry Randoll should enjoy the house wherein he now dwelleth the term of three years and then I do give the same to my sister Elizabeth Randoll during the term of her natural life and immediately after her decease my will is that my nephew Henry Randoll son of my brother Henry Randoll should enjoy the same with the orchard before excepted to him and his heirs forever and my will is that my sister Sarah Raiment my quitely have a right to dwell with my sister Elizabeth Randoll but not her husband during the term of her natural life All my personal estate and all my freehold estate I do give to my sister Elizabeth Randoll for the space of three years immediately after my decease except the house reserved for my brother Henry Randoll to dwell in sister Elizabeth Randoll sole executrix Archdeaconry of Bedford wills :- Wm Randall, Upper Sundon, 1730/34 |
