Deed - Stephanus Gashary - 1719 |

Deed – Ulster County, New York State. To all Christian people to whom this present writing shall or may come Stephanus Gashary of Kingston in the County of Ulster and province of New York in America sends greeting now know yee that the sd Stephanus Gashary for divers good causes and considerations him thereunto moving but more and especially for and in consideration of a certain sum of fourty and eight pounds current lawful money of this province to him in hand paid before the ensealing and delivery of these presents by Johanis Westbroeck of Rochester in sd County the receipt whereof he the sd Stephanus Gashary doth hereby acknowledge and therewith fully satisfied and contented and thereof and therefrom and every part and parcel doth acquit exonerate and forever discharge the sd Johanis Westbroeck his heirs executors and administrators hath given granted bargained and sold released ratified and confirmed by these presents doth freely clearly and absolutely give grant bargain and sell release ratify and confirm unto the said Johanis Westbroeck his heirs and assigns a certain house and home lott situate lying and being in the town of Kingston in the County of Ulster Provided nevertheless and if the only true intent and meaning of these presents that if the sd Stephanus Gashary his heirs executors or administrators shall and do well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the sd Johanis Westbroeck or to his certain attorney heirs executors administrators or assigns the just and full sum of fifty and six pounds nine shillings & six pence current lawful money of this province on or before the first day of May which will be in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & twenty that then this present deed and grant and every clause and article therein contained shall cause determine be void and of none effect any thing in these presents contained to the contrary thereof in any wise notwithstanding In witness whereof the said Stephanus Gashary hath hereunto sett his hand and seal in Kingston this twelfth day of May in the fifth year of his Majesties reign Anno Domini 1719 Interlined between the line six seven and twenty was the words fifty and six pounds nine shillings and six pence before sealing and delivery of these presents Sealed & delivered in the presence of us In presence of me Jn: Rutsen Justice of ye Peace A true copy May ye 14th 1719 per LDS Film # 944741 |
