New York Patents Deed Book 3, pg 90 A confirmation granted unto Henry Brasier for a certain parcel of valley or meadow ground at Maspeth Hills Francis Lovelace Esq. &c. whereas there was heretofore a Patent of Groungriefe granted unto Pieter Stoutenburgh for a certaine parcel of valley or meadow ground lying & being in Maspeth Hills in ye West Riding of Yorkshire upon Long Island beginning from ye Kill of Burger Toris his fence & soe West & by North by ye fence of Pieter Andrietsens land in length on ye North side one hundred & twenty rod in breadth on both sides as it lies betweene ye ground heretofore belonging to Francis Tyne & Piter Andrietsens then it stretcheth Northeast & by East in length two & thirty rod & so goes over a small point or bush land which lyes in ye valley or meadow ground being about one acre or halfe a morgen of land in all containing about thirteene acres or six morgens & two hundred & forty rod which said Patent or Groundgriefe bearing date ye third day of Aprill 1655 hath since beine transported & made over for a valuable consideration unto Henry Brasier Now for a confirmation unto him ye said Henry Brasier &c. The Patent is dated March ye 17th 1669 I do certify the aforegoing to be a true copy of the original record Part of the word Francis third line being written on a razure.
