William FASSON. He was recorded a butcher in the marriage register. He is likely to be from the Dunstable Fasson family as they were also butchers.

Fasson has several name variations including Fauson, Fawson, Foxen, Foxen.

He was married to Elizabeth FOURD / FORD on the 11 Jan 1705 in South Mimms, Middlesex. The marriage register noted that they were from Totternall (sic. Totternhoe) and that William was a butcher. Why they married in South Mimms is a mystery, perhaps they ran away to marry or had relatives there?
