In the name of God Amen the foarth day of September 1676 First I bequeath my sole [soul] into the hand of allmyghty god my maker amen this is the last will and testament of William Thorpe

Item I give to my sonn Thomas my clos lying in Yoving [Oving] parrish caled by the name of Gramam Cloas and all the lease and housing wich I hold of my Lord of Carnarvarn lying in Hoogston [Hoggeston] when hee comes to the age of on an [one and] twenty yeares [21 years]

Item I give to my dafter [daughter] Elsebeth [Elizabeth] on [one] hundred poundes at the age of on and twenty yeares

Item I give to my dafter Mary on hundred poundes at the age of on and twenty yeares

If ether of them dy befor thay bein to age then on halef [half] gose [goes] to the wench and the other halef too the younger boayes [boys] Josef and John

Item I give to my sonn Josef twenty poundes at the age of on and twenty yeares

Item I give to my sonn John twenty poundes at the age of on and twenty yeares

Item I give to my sonn William the house and land lying in Great Brickell [Brickill]

Item I give to the poore of Hogston teen shillinges hallef a yeare after my deceas

Item I make my wife full exsectter [executor] of all my good and chattell and my wife is to have halef the house sted? during her life seting? it in ten? partes? ......
