To all Christian people to whom this present shall or may come, John Hamble of Borlington (sic. Burlington) in West Jersey sendeth greeting, whereas the said John Hamble for divers good causes and considerations him thereunto moving, but more and especially for and in consideration of one hundred and ten pounds current money of ye province of New Yorck, to him in hand payd before the ensealing and delivery of these presents by John and Stephen Gasherie of Kingstowne in ye County of Ulster, have bargained, sold, alienated, enfeofed, assigned & sett over, and by these presents do bargain, sell, alienate, enfeof, assigns and sett over unto ye said John and Stephen Gasherie a certain house & lott of ground situate lying and being in ye town of Kingstowne it being a corner lott,

the North of ye house and ground of Gillis Lagransie, to ye East lyes the house of Huybert Aartse and now in ye possession of said John and Stephen Gasherie, which said lott of ground was upon ye 3rd day of April 1683 conveyed by Edward Wittaker unto ye said John Hamble, 

To have and to hold the said house and lott of ground, with all & every its appurtenances thereunto belonging unto ye said John and Stephen Gasherie, their heirs and assigns, and to ye only proper use benefit and behoof of them the said John and Stephen Gasherie their heirs & assigns forever,

The said John Hamble does for himself his heirs executors administrators or assigns, acquit exonerate and discharge the said John and Stephen Gasherie for ye s’d house & premises and will forever warrant and defend ag’st all manner of persons claiming the same

In Testimony whereof the said John Hamble have hereunto sett his hand and affixed his seale In Kingstowne the 3rd day of May 1698
