Registered for and at the request of Mr. David Galbreath this 19th day of October 1787. 

Memorandum that on the thirteenth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty seven, Catharine Washington of the City of New York Widow did mortgage to David Galbreath of the said City Merchant 

All that certain lot or parcel of ground situate lying and being in the West Ward of the City of New York and is known and distinguished in a certain map or chart made by Evert Bancker City Surveyor by Lot number ten and bounded
on the Easterly side by the Broadway
on the Westerly side by land of Mr. Lispenard
on the North by Lot number nine
on the South by Lot number eleven
containing in front on the Broadway thirty two feet, and in the rear thirty three feet, and in length on each side one hundred and eighty two feet
Together with all and singular &c. 

Provided always nevertheless that if the said Catharine Livingstone and john Livingstone, or one of them their or either of their heirs executors or administrators shall and do well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said David Galbreath or to his certain Attorney executor administrator or assigns the sum of seventy pounds current money of the State of New York with lawful interest for the same on or before the first day of August next ensuing according to the condition of a certain Bond or Obligation in the said Mortgage recited then the said Mortgage to be void, which said Mortgage was provided by the affidavit of Sayas Crane one of the subscribing witnesses thereto before John Ray one of the Masters in Chancery for the Sate of New York the thirteenth day of October in the year 1787.
