NINTH GENERATION

Henry THORPE was christened 5 September 1672 in Shouldham, Norfolk. ⁽¹⁾  He was buried on 22 Feb 1736 in Shouldham.

Henry made a Will in 1735 in which he described himself as a labourer. However he left a dwelling house to his wife so he may have been a husbandman or yeoman at some stage earlier in his working life, or he may have been left it by his father.

Elizabeth WATSON was Henry's 1st wife and they were married on 20 November 1693 in Shouldham.⁽¹⁾  Elizabeth was buried on 16 February 1716 in Shouldham.⁽¹⁾

Their children were:
i. Frances THORPE was christened on 27 October 1694 in Shouldham.⁽¹⁾
ii. Elizabeth THORPE was christened on 2 May 1698 in Shouldham.⁽¹⁾
iii. Henry THORPE was christened on 20 Apr 1701 in Shouldham. ⁽¹⁾ He was buried on 24 Apr 1701 in Shouldham.⁽¹⁾
iv. Elizabeth THORPE was christened on 6 Mar 1706 in Shouldham. ⁽¹⁾

Nazareth LANCASTER was Henry's 2nd wife and they were married on 18 May 1720 in Shouldham.⁽¹⁾  

Their children were:
i. Henry THORP was christened on 23 Jan 1721 in Shouldham. ⁽¹⁾ He was buried on 19 Feb 1721 in Shouldham. ⁽¹⁾
ii. John THORPE was christened on 23 Jan 1721 in Shouldham. ⁽¹⁾ He was buried on 10 Feb 1725 in Shouldham. ⁽¹⁾
iii. Henry THORPE was christened on 29 Jul 1725 in Shouldham. ⁽¹⁾
iv. John THORPE was christened on 25 Apr 1727 in Shouldham. ⁽¹⁾
v. William THORPE.
vi. James THORPE was christened on 8 Jul 1733 in Shouldham.

Nazareth THORPE was married a 2nd time to John BUTTER on 31 March 1736 in Shouldham ⁽¹⁾. John Butter was buried on 19 February 1740 in Shouldham ⁽¹⁾.

Nazareth BUTTER was married a 3nd time to Thomas STARKING on 10 July 1740 in Shouldham ⁽¹⁾.

Nazareth STARKING was buried on 19 Aug 1756 in Shouldham. ⁽¹⁾
